Is it just me, or do you also eagerly await what Netflix brings to the screen on a monthly basis? Quick Reminder: Most of the shows that are released every month can be found only on the American version of Netflix. So, if you live outside that region, you’ll need to make use of a VPN to access that wide library.

How to Get American Netflix with a VPN

If you’re looking to perfect your Netflix and chill experience, then you need to download a VPN and get the US Netflix wherever you are. With a VPN, you can connect to an American server while abroad and instantly obtain a US IP address to spoof your online location. Doing so will make it appear as if you’re browsing straight from the US and the American Netflix will be available to you anywhere overseas. Now, just follow the steps below, get American Netflix, and enjoy the best original shows coming to you this November:

  1. Sign up with a VPN provider, ExpressVPN is highly recommended.
  2. Download and install the VPN application on your iOS, Mac, PC, or Android.
  3. Sign in with the VPN account and connect to a US server.
  4. Launch Netflix.
  5. Enjoy the biggest variety of shows and programs straight from the US to your home screens anywhere.

You can always check the table below for the best VPNs to unblock Netflix. I’m looking at you, expats and travelers living abroad.

Netflix Originals – Top Picks

There are a lot of releases this November and if you know Netflix well, you know they’re all worth watching. But while researching, three of them caught my attention. Two of them are already fan favorites and the third one is a highly anticipated newcomer. Read ahead so you can see what I’m talking about.

Narcos: Mexico (Season 4)

Narcos will hit the reset button once again. It’s not considered a reboot, but it is talking about a different kind of drug cartel and a whole lot of new corruption stories. Netflix has confirmed that the series will explore the origins of the drug war by going back to its roots. It will chart the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s. If you’re not familiar with the cartel, it was formed in the 80’s in order to ship Heroin and Marijuana to the United States. Michael Peña and Diego Luna were announced to star in the upcoming series. It’s going to be a huge turn for the direction of the series, yet we’re psyched to delve into the depth of corruption that used to happen back then in Mexico. Stay tuned, November 16th is going to be amazing if you have Netflix.

House of Cards (Season 6)

There has been a lot of controversy about whether this season is still worth watching or not. This is all after Kevin Spacey was fired from the show due to inappropriate behavior in his private life. Robin Wright is set to take on the leading role in the series finale this year. Moreover, there will be at least two new characters in the final episodes played by Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear, and we all know how good those two are (have you been watching any award shows lately?).

The season is going to explore how Claire Underwood will sustain the pressure of being the first female president in the United States. She’s been called “the worst thing that has ever happened to this country”, but her opinion is that “The first female President of the United States is not gonna keep her mouth shut.” So expect a lot of tension and drama. I’m sure that the series finale will blow our minds starting on November 2nd.

Westside (Season 1)

Being a Netflix unscripted series certainly puts a lot of pressure and expectations on a show. This show is a deeply personal glimpse into the journeys of nine young L.A.-based musicians as they follow their dreams. Despite daily struggles, having to fight their own demons, and even self-doubt, these individuals still dream big. This heartwarming show will bring tears to your eyes and joy to your heart. If you like such programs like me, then you will probably be waiting anxiously for November 9th.
