How to Catch All 24 Hours of Le Mans 2018 Live Online

‘24 Heures du Mans’, which translates to 24 Hours of Le Mans, is the world’s oldest active endurance racing event and one of the most prestigious worldwide. It has been held annually since 1923, taking place near the town of Le Mans in France, hence its name. The so-called “Grand Prix of Endurance and Efficiency”, in which cars race for 24 hours, is one of three events of the Triple Crown of Motorsport, alongside the Indianapolis 500 and the Monaco Grand Prix.

The 86th edition will take place on the 16th and 17th of June, 2018, at the Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans. The event garners global interest, luring in over 30 global broadcasters worldwide.

Can I Catch it Online?

Yes you can. Several broadcasting outlets will stream the event live online, but you might need to use a VPN as these channels geo block access. You’ve got:

Not all channels will broadcast the event in full though; Fox Sports Go is one of the few channels that will. The streaming channel, however, is only available to viewers residing inside the US. But rest assured there is an easy way to unblock it. You simply need to change your location. No, you won’t have to travel, simply install a VPN and change your IP address. Simply:

  • Download and install a VPN
  • Use the VPN to connect through a US server
  • Log on to Fox Sports Go online
  • Enjoy the show

Here’s How it Works

VPNs, or virtual private networks, are networks that connect you to a number of servers scattered around the globe. Every time you connect to a server somewhere, the VPN service substitutes you local IP with an IP of the country where the server is located. So if you connect through a server in the US, your traffic will be marked with a US IP. To Fox Sport, it will seem as if you’re residing in the US.

Which Service Should You Install

There is a good number of reliable VPN services out there, but our recommendation falls on BulletVPN, and that is primarily because of its speed. Typically, VPNs tend to reduce the speed of your connection, that is because your data will be taking a longer route than usual. Good VPNs, such as BulletVPN, employ state of the art servers and technologies that minimize this reduction. This is particularly important when it comes to streaming, a data-heavy process.

In addition to spoofing your IP, BulletVPN comes equipped with strong encryption, for added security, and 24 hour live support, in the unlikely event when you might need to troubleshoot anything. Finally, BulletVPN is available for a great number of platforms, including, but not limited to, Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Android TV Boxes.

There is Also Another Way

You can use a Smart DNS to reroute geo-related URLs and unblock channels like Fox Sports Go or Eurosport. Unlocator is our recommendation for a Smart DNS proxy service. It is able to unblock both Fox Sports GO and SuperSport. It also offers a free 7-day trial.
